Coaching is a powerful partnership that helps you focus and realize your visions and goals. With a Professional Coach, you will develop the tools and support to remove obstacles and facilitate the change you want to see in your life.

How is coaching done?


Most individual coaching is done over the phone. This gives the greatest flexibility for scheduling and also lets you choose an environment where you feel comfortable to fully participate in the coaching session. I typically do two, 60-minute sessions per month. Depending on your schedule and needs that is flexible. To create profound changes in your life, I request at least a three-month commitment. After the first three months we can continue on a monthly basis until you feel ready to stop. I work with most clients from 4–6 months.




What happens in a typical session?


Coaching sessions are a dynamic and creative exchange between the coach and client. The hallmark of coaching is self-responsibility. The client sets the agenda for the call and the coach follows that agenda. You can expect powerful and clarifying questions, focused and fine-tuned planning tools, and accountability. We'll talk. We'll have fun. We'll work hard. We'll do creative and fun activities to support you to step out of your comfort zone and see things from a new perspective. We'll identify obstacles in your way and develop strategies to get past them. We'll set goals and design accountability to support you to achieve them. If an approach we're trying isn't working for you, you always have the right to say that you want to try something else and we'll choose a new approach. As your coach, I’ll have high expectations of you and support you thoroughly. We'll accomplish a lot during a coaching session, but most of the work happens between sessions when you are exploring and deepening new awareness and taking steps to accomplish your goals.




How much does it cost?


I'm happy to give you a fee quote after we discuss your needs and how we will structure our partnership. If price is a concern for you please reach out and we'll do our best to come to a fee that works for both of us. Discounted rates are available for current Coaching For Transformation students. The financial and time commitment you make to coaching is an investment that pays big dividends. I find that clients who are committed to seeing change in their life see the time and financial commitments to coaching as investments in their future that motivate them to get the most out of it. If after our first full session you feel like this isn't a good fit for you I will give you a complete refund.




Where are you located?


I'm located in Brooklyn, NY. The beauty of doing coaching over the phone is that you can be anywhere and we can still work together. I'm also a night owl so if you are on the West coast or in another country I'm often open to late night sessions.




Is coaching therapy?


No, coaching is not therapy. You'll find that coaching focuses on strategic planning and personal growth and does not attempt to heal emotional trauma. Coaches regularly refer clients to other professionals for issues that are better suited to a therapeutic relationship. Coaching is often a great complement to therapy.




How can I get the most out of coaching?


  • Find the coach who feels like the best fit for you. If I'm not a fit for you I'm part of an extensive network of coaches and I am happy to connect you to someone who might be a better match.
  • During your first coaching session, set a 90-day goal that’s worth accomplishing. Make sure the goal is something that’s worth the coaching fee, something you’d be happy to pay for.
  • Make the most of your coaching time. Tell your coach what results you want and your coach will help you make it happen. Your coach can't do the work for you though. If you are thinking about starting coaching be ready to make the commitment to work hard towards achieving your goals.
  • Use the time between sessions to work on homework assignments and to deepen any new awareness you gain in a session. Share what you are learning about yourself and what changes are happening for you with the important people in your life. Get support for the great things you are accomplishing.
